The launch ceremony of “Jockey Club ifva Everywhere - 48 Hour Film Challenge” was successfully held on 17 August (Friday) at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. 50 participating teams attended the ceremony.  The Challenge then took place from 7pm and completed at 7pm on 19 August (Sunday). The finalist showcase and prize presentation ceremony of the Challenge will take place on 30 September (Sunday) at Edinburgh Place in Central as the finale of the “Jockey Club ifva Everywhere Carnival”. Ten finalists will be further selected by professionals for the Jury Prize and voted by the audience of Carnival for the Audience Prize. Prizes totaling HK$100,000 will be awarded to respective winning teams. Come and join us!

“Audience Prize” Voting Guideline

You, as a voter, will have the power to vote and decide who can achieve the impossible - to win the prize of HK $50,000 ultimately! It is hoped that every voter will respect and support the filmmakers by completing all short films at the screening.

• The programme starts at 7:45pm. Members of audience who want to vote are required to enter the designated area of Open-air Screening on time. Audience will be given one ballot paper for voting before screening starts. Staff will stamp the hands of those who have been given the ballot paper.
• Distribution of ballot paper will stop upon MC’s announcement as such.
• The voting process will be conducted after the 10 short films have been screened. Please tear off ONE black grid to indicate your favorite film, and place your ballot paper into the collection box at a designated time announced by the MC.
• Vote for one film only on each ballot paper. You cannot get a replacement for a lost or used ballot paper.
• No early submission of ballot paper is accepted. Leaving in the middle of the screening is not recommended. If you need to leave early, please return your ballot paper to the staff at the exit.
