A city is constructed around big souls and little tales. Directors document the changes in the city through their lenses. With Yeung Yeung with Cows, Wong Cheuk-man, Law Wan-i, Law Hoi- ki, Leung Wing-sze and Tang Ka-hei record the changes in time by documenting Yeung Yeung and her cows. In Chan Hau-chun and Chui Chi-yin’s Call Me Mrs Chan, the fact that women workers being an indispensable social force is recorded. Cheng Oi-yue and Lee Wai-shing reflects the relationship between creatives and the society through 310 Tung Chau Street.

Cleaner Mrs Chan works in a public housing estate to clear the garbage, 365 days a year except on the first day of the Chinese New Year. For the past ten years, her quiet dedication cleaning the building has brought her no respect, only back pain. She said people despised her job, but she carried on with it.
