Artist’s Statement

I am Wounded is a story of coming-of-age. Aram and his little brother Mihemed are struggling to become men in this city. The wounds of this country are to be healed. As the skyscrapers rise, poverty rises along. The most important aspect of life is family. The dangers of the city are muted inside the comfort of home, until the next day starts rolling.

We wanted to show that despite the looks, there is a deeper complexity in life.
