Artist's Statement
Since 2008, my wife has started drawing a series of paintings called Concrete Heaven. My thoughts are so occupied by the scenes in those paintings that they gradually leave the ground for a distance of 50 thousand kilometers. The stories of the Concrete Heaven are told in my mind, by train that traveled upward, by wandering aircraft, and castaways who do not know their destinations.
